Appointments are recommended to help avoid a wait, but walk-ins are welcome with Maria Wednesdays–Saturdays 10–6PM depending on her availability. Emily is available by appointment only. If you have a specific day or time in mind, we recommend booking ahead as appointments can fill up quickly.

18+ must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (no temporary paper copies or military IDs).

Under 18 must have the parent/guardian present with ID and minors original or certified copy birth certificate (no printer copies allowed). Otherwise court-ordered permanent guardianship paperwork is needed.

We do not offer below-the-belt genital piercings, horizontal tongue (“snake eyes or frog eyes”) piercings, surface piercings (dermals, anti eyebrows, etc) or dahlia/cheek piercings.

Ages 13+

• We offer all ear cartilage, nostrils, eyebrows, bridges, septums, lips, tongues, and navel piercings
• Only Emily performs tongue piercings on minors (Maria does 18+)

Children’s Earlobes

• Only Emily pierces babies 3–8 months & children 5+ (Maria does teens 13+ only)

For babies 3–8 months, Emily uses a gentler approach and requires they arrive hungry so they can breastfeed or bottle-feed during the piercing. Feeding helps soothe and comfort them so it’s not traumatic.

Emily avoids piercing older babies (9+ months) and toddlers/young children (12 months–4 years) because these ages can make the piercing experience more difficult and stressful. Older babies often need to be physically held still and can no longer be easily comforted or distracted by nursing or feeding during the procedure. Toddlers and young children may happily agree to the first piercing but become too scared or upset to safely complete the second. At these ages children are also more likely to touch, grab, or pull at their ears, increasing the risk of irritation, infection from unclean hands, and lost jewelry. Emily recommends waiting until around age 5 when children can better understand the process, sit still willingly for both piercings, understand why they shouldn’t touch their healing ears, and can participate in caring for them. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience for everyone!

We use sterile, single-use piercing needles only — never piercing guns.

Professional piercing needles create a clean, precise opening with significantly less tissue trauma allowing for better healing. Piercing guns force blunt jewelry through the tissue, cannot always be properly sterilized, use restrictive butterfly backs, and do not allow appropriate sizing for swelling.

We do not perform new piercings during pregnancy because if an infection were to occur and it turned into sepsis it could affect the baby, plus hormones interfere with healing.

Breastfeeding clients may be pierced, but we recommend waiting at least 6 weeks postpartum to allow your body time to recover from birth. We do not recommend piercing your nipples while breastfeeding until your baby is completely weaned.

Yes! You may bring up to 2 support people as long as they do not interfere with the procedure or workspace.

Children who are not receiving a service must be supervised by another adult while in the studio (cannot be alone in the lobby), or they must be able to sit still on the piercing room couch.

Piercings heal from the outside in, so they may look healed before the tissue inside is fully recovered. Healing varies by person, but these are typical timeframes:

• Conch, Tragus & Forward Helix: 6–8 months
• Daith, Rook, Anti-Tragus & Snug: 8–12 months

For most piercings we start with a “stud” (end + flatback labret or barbell) to allow for easier healing.

Some piercings, like earlobes, daiths and septums, are appropriate to start with rings. Once other piercings are healed, we’re happy to help switch you to a properly fitted ring!

Outside jewelry cannot be used for new piercings, including jewelry previously purchased from us that has left the studio. This allows us to verify the material, quality, sizing, and sterility of all initial jewelry.

Anatomy varies from person to person, and some piercings require specific anatomy to heal safely.

Your piercer will assess the area before piercing. Make sure to send us anatomy photos or come in for a free anatomy check if unsure. If a piercing is not suitable for your anatomy, we’ll explain why and recommend alternatives whenever possible.

We do not use or recommend numbing creams before piercings. They can alter the tissue and potentially affect accurate placement, and most piercings themselves take only a few seconds.

We focus instead on making the procedure as quick, comfortable, and smooth as possible.

Certain medical conditions and medications can affect bleeding, healing, infection risk, or your body's response to a piercing.

Please let us know 24 hours before your appointment if you have a condition that could affect healing or bleeding, are immunocompromised, have recently undergone surgery, or take medications such as blood thinners.

Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to speak with your healthcare provider or obtain medical clearance before piercing.

Never stop or alter a prescribed medication for a piercing without speaking with a prescribing healthcare professional.

Photos and videos are not permitted during the actual piercing procedure so your piercer can work safely without distractions.

Before-and-after photos are welcome. Any photos or videos otherwise requires the piercers consent.

For health and hygiene reasons, all body jewelry sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you’re purchasing jewelry as a gift, we recommend a gift certificate so the recipient can be properly fitted in person.

Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee (bring cash to avoid this). Afterpay is also available with a 6% convenience fee for clients who prefer installment payments.
